LAST Sunday saw David Hall and Kent Price, two of the most skilled members of the Men’s Bowls Club at Park Beach go head to head in the final of the Club Major Singles.

In difficult windy conditions both bowlers displayed extraordinary skills in a tight, hard fought battle in front of large numbers of appreciative spectators.

Ironically, David and Kent had actually been team mates the previous day when they defeated Kim Kaaden and Ron Wisely in the final of the Major Pairs.

The scores were very close and changed on several occasions, but at the end of the day David prevailed, helped in no small part by a maximum four shots on one end towards the end of the game.
