Parliamentary Secretary for the Hunter Taylor Martin said the project would be a huge win for the entire region. “The Hunter region will gain substantial economic benefits through improved access to and from key employment areas such as Tomago, Beresfield, Black Hill, the Port of Newcastle and Greater Newcastle,” Mr Martin said. “Transport for NSW is planning to display the M1 to Raymond Terrace Environmental Impact Statement for community feedback in the coming months, on track for determination in mid-2022.” By Marian SAMPSON Taylor Martin MLC for Hunter is excited about the upgrade.
