Our member, Dick Hadley competing in the District Senior Singles had progressed to the Semi-Finals due to be played on Saturday morning 5 June.

Dick’s opponent in that match was taken ill and could not play resulting in Dick going straight to the Final which was played on the Saturday afternoon of the same day.

Dick played well but unfortunately was beaten by Eric Ryan from the Beresfield Club in a tight match by 31-24 shots.

A great effort nevertheless and congratulations to Dick on reaching the Final.
