What does all this mean? It means you will enjoy the International show at Circus Royale! Circus Royale, featuring international acts, is as traditional as it gets. Circus Royale is raising the colourful big top at Salamander Bay and Raymond Terrace. The steel Globe of Death is four metres wide and motorbikes are manoeuvred around the cage at speeds of up to 80km/h. It’s nail-biting stuff! Throw in a colourful ringmaster, acrobatic artistry, and tail wagging dogs, along with dancing horses, gorgeous girls and funny clowns. Look out for the colourful Chilean Family Reyes who give traditional slapstick a modern make-over and have great fun with water, comedy and the audience. Baby camels, happy tail wagging dogs and cute young jugglers too – this circus will have kids sitting open-mouthed in wonder. And at its very heart stands the new custodian of Circus Royale, the young Australian circus owner Damian Syred. Circus Royale showing at Salamander Bay from 22-26 April and at Raymond Terrace from 29 April to 3 May.
