WITH the recent spate of disasters including bushfires, floods and COVID-19 heavily impacting the Nambucca Valley, there are many issues weighing on people’s minds.

Pat Conaghan, Federal Member for Cowper, says he understands how hard it is for the members of his electorate to travel to his office in order to list their concerns, share their ideas and explore opportunities.

That is why he has decided to set up mobile offices throughout his electorate, with the Nambucca Valley next on his list.

Mr Conaghan said, “My focus is on ensuring that everyone who lives in the electorate of Cowper has the opportunity to have their say, and one way that I do this is through my mobile offices.”

The mobile offices will be set up in Nambucca Heads on Monday June 7 and Bowraville on Friday Jun 11.

Mr Conaghan said, “I have a saying ‘people before politics’, and this mantra reminds me every day not to lose focus on what’s important, no matter where you live across the mid-north coast.”
