Upcoming on April 17 Corrie is running a highly anticipated Salsa Rueda workshop and party.

The format has three sessions during the day in the Banksia Room at Coffs Showgrounds, with a Beginners session to kick off the night with dancing deep into the evening in all styles, downstairs at the Sawtell RSL.

Brett Sprague, CLR Club President told News Of The Area, “We would like to encourage everyone to bring a friend for the Beginners workshop.”

May 16 and 17 sees two of Australia’s renowned Latin dancers Rafael and Juliana coming to Coffs, “For what is expected to be a Zouk extravaganza over five sessions and mixed style party,” said Brett.

“We are also excited to announce some changes to our classes.

“Listening to feedback from the members, we are looking to expand the Beginners Salsa syllabus.”

A deeper Beginner experience will lead into a smoother entry to the Improver level, allowing members to challenge the established dancers more in Corrie’s experienced classes.

In further exciting news, The Cancer Council is again seeking instructors for its ‘Dancing with the Stars’ event.

Brett said, “We expect at least one CLR instructor will volunteer, and we look forward to the whole Club getting behind this fantastic opportunity to display our Latin dance prowess and camaraderie within the Coffs community.”
