Photo: Emma Darbin. A LA BOUDOIR Adult Store is proposed for the Coffs Harbour CBD area. A development application has recently been lodged with Coffs Harbour City Council for a Change of Use (Restricted Premises and Shop Fit Out) at 2 Park Avenue, Coffs Harbour for the proposed adult store. The currently vacant premises is proposed to be turned into a ‘restricted premises’ for the sale of adult toys, gimmicks and to promote hygiene for the community, and will employ three staff as well as the employment of local trade workers during the site’s transformation. The site will undergo a basic shop fit out, including restricting shop front visibility from the footpath by covering up shop windows to stop unwanted attention from underaged people. The adult store is proposed to operate from 10am to 7pm Monday to Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and from 10am to 8pm on Thursday. The development application can be viewed and public submissions can be made on Council’s website at www.coffsharbour.nsw.gov.au until 12 April.
