Community youth radio station 104.1 CHY FM announces new Board of Management for 2021

CHY FM has proudly announced their new Board of Management for 2021.

The new board is made up of nine people from a broad range of experience in business and entertainment.

The Board members are-

• Patrick Armstrong, Sales Representative, Mundipharma and Chair of the Board.

• Angie Vaughan, 104.1 CHY FM Station Manager and Board Administrator.

• Chrissie Vincent, Head of Entertainment Management, Collarts, and Board Secretary.

• Vici Funnell, Retired, ex-CEO Scope and Make a Wish Foundation, past Chair of the Rotary Box Hill South and Rotary Club of Kardinia and Board Treasurer.

• Dianne Weller, Actor and arts coordinator.

• Matt Adams, Director and Retail Manager, TechAddicts

• Ross Miller, School teacher, Grafton High School and volunteer announcer

• Ryan Bard, Director, Grafton Audio & Electrics, Broadcast Coordinator support (volunteer)

• Sarah Poole, Director, One Fine Day

The station also announced its Patron, Matt DeGroot, Breakfast newsreader of the Fitzy & Wippa program, NOVA 96.9, Sydney.

“This is possibly the strongest, most forward-thinking and pro-active Board/Committee of Management the radio station has had in its history,“ said station manager Angie Vaughan.

“All these people have a vast range of experience and expertise that will go leaps and bounds towards growing and developing this fantastic community resource for the youth of the Coffs Coast area and beyond.”

At the first meeting of the Board work commenced on a strategic plan, examining finances and revamping sales and marketing.

Future plans include acquiring new equipment and working towards a more inclusive workplace.

The 104.1 CHY FM Board would also like to recognise and sincerely thank Neil Cole for his enduring 16 years of service and contribution to the station.
