Coffs Harbour’s Car Boot Market relocating on Easter Sunday

The Car Boot Market is relocating to Brelsford Park.

AFTER 20 years of calling the Jetty Foreshores home, the popular monthly Car Boot Market is relocating to a new location at Brelsford Park (near Coles Supermarket), Coffs Harbour.

Entry to the Market will be from Earl Street, with stalls set up between the skate park and children’s playground.

In another change, the Market is returning to the first Sunday of the month, commencing on Easter Sunday 4 April.

Coffs Harbour Pacific City Lions Club hosts the markets, giving stall holders and bargain hunters the chance to drive a great deal.

The Club’s caravan will be on hand selling their renowned egg and bacon rolls, steak rolls and sausage sandwiches, together with cold drinks, tea and coffee.

Stall holders will not be permitted to sell food nor drinks.

Stall holders can start setting up no earlier than 6am to be ready for a 7am start.

Pacific City Lions is asking that stall holders keep noise to a minimum during this period as the Brelsford Park is adjacent to residents.

No bookings are required, just turn up and you will be directed to a site upon arrival.

The Car Boot Market provides a valuable community service.

Pacific City Lions is encouraging community groups to register at its caravan to have a free stall at future markets to promote their cause, providing no sales are made from their stall.

Stall Holders would normally pay $15 for a 6m x 5m site, however in order to ensure a very successful start at its new location and date, Pacific City Lions is making the sites for free for Sunday 4 April only.

Pacific City Lions proceeds from the Market are used to help the needy in our community, living up to our motto, “We Serve”.

The Club is always on the lookout for new members, and if you are interested please make enquiries with any of the members at the Market in purple shirts.
