URUNGA Ladies have enjoyed great success in the district open 4s and senior 4s held this week at Woolgoolga.

Team Lynne Tarrent, Jo Bathgate, Helen Hoffman and Janine Brown won the open 4s against Woolgoolga by one point, a great effort.

Team seniors 4s, Isabel Pettit, Faye Puckeridge, Elaine Cameron and Jenny Foster only went down by 1 point on the final end, great work to both teams.

On Thursday Lynne Tarrent and Kath McPhail played Elaine Cameron and Rhonda Riley for title of major pairs championship, a great game was viewed by those watching with just one point the difference in the end, finishing 15/14.

Congratulations to Elaine and Rhonda, it was a tough game.

Nominations for the Camellia triples to be played over 12 and 13 June are now being taken, the first 28 teams will be accepted.

Nominations will close 4/6/21or when we reach 28 teams.

Sunday morning resulted in a lot of last end winners in the men’s major pairs.

C Wills, John Bradley defeated E Whittaker, D Miles, 23/18.

R Barbat, P Hall defeated C Simpson, M Learmonth 24/19.

R Brown, G Banks defeated Pand P Russell 26/14.

S Russ, P Parramore defeated B Bracken, J Shearim 24/18.

J Simpson, M Nugent defeated J Hogarth, P McRitchie 21/ 19 with an extra end.

A Grogan and Sub B Foster defeated E Hodges, D Jones 25/ 11.
