TILLIGERRY under 12s played their semi final on Saturday against Hunter Valley Grammar School.

Unfortunately, despite a strong performance against undefeated opposition, the talented Port Stephens youngsters did not come away victorious on the day.

Tilligerry bowled first, bowling out the Hunter Valley opposition for 78.

Tilligerry then took to the crease to chase the score down.

Unfortunately the last wicket fell just a mere 11 runs short.

The effort of the entire was indescribable, and the local side can hold their heads high knowing they gave it 110%
