WOOLGOOLGA RSL Women’s Golf Club competition Tuesday 24 February.

Well, summer is almost over, as is February, but not yet the rain.

Twenty eight ladies competed in a stableford game with a shootout qualifier on Tuesday 24 on a soggy Safety Beach golf course and scored very well.

These ladies are very hard to deter from their golf.

Winner was Leanne Clark on 39pts, runner-up Karen Bellamy and third runner-up Merryl Kyburz 34pts.

NTP 7th Merryl Kyburz, 9th Gaile Mackenzie and 11th Rose Morrow.

Balls went to Marian Brading, Yolly Gallacher, Janelle Coleman and Wendy Rogers.

Tuesday 2 March is the Monthly Medal 1st round and Tuesday 9 March is coloured ball comp. March is a busy month and includes the start of the Pennant comp and our Open Day.

The 9 hole Wine Run is a great way to get extra competition, socially, and Pro Terry is always available for lessons, equipment and clothing.

New members and players are always welcome at our very happy club.
