This week the school celebrated this milestone of 7 years of Primary School at an assembly.

The school and all its students are pleased to have given a big welcome to the 27 students that started Kindergarten this year.

The School has been planning solidly for their 2021-2023 School Improvement Plan.

Substantial initiatives to improve attendance, student’s sense of belonging and ensuring equity for all are ongoing focus areas for school improvement.

The school recently held its annual swimming carnival with Junior Champions Liam Mitchell and Lily Fidden joining Senior Champions Rory Ingram and Grace Ehlefeldt.

The 11 Years Champions were Harry Webb and Matilda Fidden.

The School Houses competed hotly at the carnival with Tomaree taking out the win with 236 points beating out Corrie on 132 points followed by Stephens on 129 points and Yacabba on 95 points.

The school was represented at the Port Stephens Zone swimming carnival with Lily Fidden coming second.

Lily will go on to represent the school and zone at the Hunter Swimming Carnival in the 10 years 50m freestyle event.
