AS the women’s tackle competition draws to a close, the action at Geoff King Motors Park on Saturday provided a high standard of rugby league for those in attendance to enjoy.

The warm conditions didn’t deter the combatants in the opens, under-17 and under-15 divisions from giving it their all and producing many highlights.

The open team representing the Coffs Coast maintained its unbeaten record with a strong 54-0 win over Lower Macleay.

Many of the local players are putting their best foot forward for representative honours in front of North Coast Bulldogs selectors.

Wauchope showed its not far behind the incredible standard the Coffs women are setting.

The Blues won their big clash against Port City.

The final matches of the seven round season are being played tomorrow at Wauchope.
