Almost 8,000 golfers are believed to have taken part in the club qualifiers in 2020, proving yet again it’s the biggest participation event each year for Golf NSW.

Now it’s down to less than 100 with men’s, ladies and mixed titles up for grabs.

Even the golfers who don’t win next week get to enjoy being treated like royalty by the Bonville team.

Qualifying to play in the event means the players don’t just get to play two rounds of golf on the picturesque course.

They also get to stay in the on-course accommodation for three nights, enjoy the welcome barbeque being held on Sunday night, the presentation dinner on the final night and breakfasts on all three mornings.

The 2-person Ambrose event has a unique way of deciding the champions as well.

Played over two rounds of 18-holes, scoring for each round is based on ranking for that round.

So the nett winner of a round will receive one point, the runner-up two points, third place three points and so on.

The winner of the State Final will be the pairing with the lowest points across the two rounds.
