Email us – media@newsofthearea.com.au The charity organisation has created a dated chart throughout the month of November as a guide to help enable locals to add one food item a day to a hamper for each day of November to create a hamper full of food by the end of the month to gift to a family doing it tough this Christmas. Food items listed on the chart for each day include a can of baked beans, pasta, long life milk, tea bags, tinned fruit, jam, rice and soup. The chart can be found on the Hope for the Homeless – Coffs Harbour Inc. Facebook page. Local residents, schools or businesses interested in taking part in the food hamper donations can register at hope4homeless2450@gmail.com, as well as locals who are in need of a ‘Hamper of Hope’ this Christmas. Participants are asked to put all the food items into a 50lt plastic tub with a lid, and Hope for the Homeless will collect the food tubs and distribute them to families in need during December.
I will have a hamper completed this afternoon. Please email me expected day of pick-up from Urunga. Thank you. Reply
