The money has been allocated towards a special feature tree and additional planting at the school’s new gardening project. “A huge thank you to the Bulahdelah CWA for the generous donation to our School to Work Go Getters program,” BCS posted on their Facebook page. “Your support is greatly appreciated.” CWA Bulahdelah secretary, Kylie Paar, said that the school was having a plaque made which would list all the club’s members and be placed in the completed garden as an acknowledgment of thanks. “It’s really humbling to be recognised in that way but what feels better is just knowing that we’ve made a difference at one of our local schools,” said Ms Paar. “To know that the students will be able to continue to pursue and even expand their learnings with that additional support is really rewarding.” The club also donated $500 towards Bulahdelah Community Hospital which will be used towards new medical equipment. “We’re so happy to be able to help our community like this,” she said. “Supporting local in a small community is at the core of CWA and why we do what we do.” By Ashley CHRYSLER
