Tom and Barbara Parkinson sixtieth wedding anniversary Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest by NOTA - January 28, 2015 Hawks Nest identities, Tom and Barbara Parkinson are very excited to be celebrating their sixtieth wedding anniversary on 29 January 2015. Tom and Barbara Parkinson Over sixty years ago, Arnold (Tom) and Barbara (nee Croft) Parkinson, both from Muswellbrook, met during the National Service Campaign and were married in St James Church on the 29th January 1955. Barbara and Tom had a three day honeymoon in a very hot area, Tamworth. They were blessed with a daughter, Jennifer, and have two grandchildren, Josh and Ria. The happy couple retired to Hawks Nest in 1994. On their special day, Barbara and Tom will be entertaining family and friends at a small luncheon in Newcastle on the day of the anniversary. When asked what their secret in reaching this wonderful milestone was, they said, “A lot of luck and love.” Congratulations Barbara and Tom from Myall Coast News.
