Located at 45 William Street, Raymond Terrace, Newstart Juice provides fantastic combinations of fruit and vegetable juices and smoothies and a friendly atmosphere. The juice bar officially opened at 10am, November 21 with Member for Paterson Meryl Swanson cutting the ceremonial ribbon.

Ms Meryl Swanson MP said, “It’s a place for young people to come, hang out and catch up. It’s also a positive vibrant spot in our main William Street.”

It is a great place to get delicious juices or smoothies that are actually healthy and good for the body. NEWSTART stands for Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest and Trust.

“The first step towards a new start in your life is getting your nutrition right and getting healthy. At Newstart Juice we are here for our community so that people can come and take that first step towards a healthier lifestyle,” said Blake Penland, pastor at RTM Adventist Church.

The non-profit juice bar functions for community benefit, helping residents take the right steps toward a better and brighter future.

Pr Blake also added, “When we looked at what this community needed, Raymond Terrace, in terms of obesity and problems with weight, is one of the most obese cities in New South Wales and Australia. So, to help with this, we started Newstart Juice to help our community be a healthier place.”

Newstart Juice is a non-profit community health initiative run by the Raymond Terrace Mission Adventist Church.
Paul Kochanski, manager at Newstart Juice stated, “It’s a way of reaching the community and servicing the community with helpful, happy and good things.”
