Stormie brought smiles to many of the elderly residents who loved and enjoyed his visit.

Stormie visited every floor via the elevator, which didn’t faze him at all provided there was a steady supply of carrots for him to munch on.

He happily walked into tight spaces to visit infirm residents that were unable to rise from their beds to touch him, squeezing between furniture and walkers and having to back out of tight spaces.

President of Hunter Horse Haven, Debbie Barber told News Of The Area, “He gave cuddles to many like he knew what he was doing was important and provided happiness and soothed the soul.

A massive thank-you must go to Ayva and Michelle who volunteered to help and ensured everything went smoothly.

Also thank-you to the girls who fed the horses today back at the Haven and the staff at Regis Retirement Village for organising the visit.”

Hunter Horse Haven volunteer their time to give back to the local community in thanks for their caring support.
If anyone would like to sponsor Stormie, sponsorship is $12.50 per week or a tax deductible donation is appreciated.

A day brightening the lives of our elderly is worth its weight in gold.
