Pearls goal achieved

“We did it!” an excited and exhausted Kerry Paterson told News Of The Area,after the Pearls group met their target at this year’s Buy My Wardrobe fundraiser, held at the Myall Festival event last Saturday. Their goal was to raise above last year’s total and give even more funds to drought affected farmers. “We raised an astounding total of $4000.00from sales of second hand clothes, a raffle and donations,” Kerry said.

The raffle winners were, First prize ticket Red A51 Dan Wells. Second prize ticket Red C87 to Deb and Third prize Blue ticket A15 won by Shirley.

The Pearls would like to thank everyone in the local community for your generous support of their efforts, donating clothes for sale, to Emily and Ben at the Tea Gardens Hotel for allowing them to utilize the Dolphin Room and to Carole Richards for her energy and time with Pearls who modelled in the Pop up fashion parades.
