This is why the good folks at the Wellness Centre Port Stephens have decided to hold a Charity Yoga Day on Sunday 29 September to raise much needed funds to support those women in remission.

The event will take place at their One Mile Beach facilities with all class fees going towards the Olivie Newton-John charity as they aim to reach their goal of $1,000,000 Nationally.

The Yoga Day is a precursor to the Wellness Walk and Research Run that will take place in Melbourne on Sunday 6 October where Olivia Newton-John will join fundraisers.

Fiona Scope from Soul Art Yoga Australia said that yoga studios from across Australia were asked to help support the charity reach their fundraising goals.

“Yoga teachers have been asked nationally to get behind the Wellness Walk and the Olivia Newton-John charity to support women with, and recovering from breast cancer,” said Ms Scope.

“We’re looking forward to getting as many people as possible out at One Mile to get right behind this event.”

The yoga class will run from 10 to 11am with the $20 fee going wholly to the charity.

The day is open to all walks and it’s hoped as many people as possible will help change some lives for the better.
