ELEVEN members of Myall Masters Swimming Club travelled to Woy Woy on 21 July to compete in the NSW State Relay Meet.

The swimmers, Peter Kellaway, Michael Rose, Adrian Reynolds, Stephen Rees, Leon Bobako, Laurie Vickery, Christopher Lock, Brad Jensen, Cheryl Rose, Sharon Taylor & Linda Stubbs all did the Club proud.

There were 267 swimmers representing 17 clubs and Myall managed to take out seven first placings, five second placings & two 3rd placings.

At the end of the day Myall finished overall in 10th position, second place to Port Macquarie in Country teams. Port Macquarie had 23 swimmers, Myall had eleven.

Special congratulations to Brad Jensen, our head coach, who was presented with the Betty Grant Memorial Award.

This is a prestigious award which is given in recognition of the recipients contribution and dedication to Masters Swimming.

Brad is a very worthy recipient of this award and an asset to the Club.

The criteria for nomination for this award is extensive and Myall Masters are very fortunate to have the expertise of Brads coaching skills.
