The Grange Auditorium had been transformed into everything French with local caterer, Heidi Davison, serving a sumptuous three course meal to guests which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Village resident, Laurie Bailey who coordinated the day, told News of the Area, “It was an absolutely fantastic day with ninety-three in attendance. “I was hoping that the numbers would be around sixty but was astounded when the numbers kept growing.” “We had lucky door prizes and the highlight was when everyone joined in to sing the French National Anthem,” Ms Bailey said.
