The Positive Behaviour and Learning Program recognises students at 9 local schools for their excellence.

Colleen Mulholland-Ruiz of MarketPlace Raymond Terrace told News Of The Area, “MarketPlace Raymond Terrace is proud to partner with the PBL program and recognise students within schools for their positive actions and behaviours.”

Lachlan Halliday of Irrawang Public School received his nomination for a PBL award for his great sportsmanship.

Amelia Alexander is an enthusiastic member of the Grahamstown Public Schools green team,

Her work in the garden and her positive environmental initiatives are appreciated.

Mia Wilson of Medowie Public School was also recognised for her commitment to the environment as she collects rubbish and disposes of it responsibly.

James O’Brien travels from Maitland to Raymond Terrace Public School by bus and he has received a PBL award for the respect and courtesy which he shows to older passengers.

Karuah Public School’s Branden Clarke also received his award for his behaviour on the bus.

He has demonstrated his positive behaviour at the bus stop and in his interactions with the bus driver on his daily trips to school.

Brodie Forbes of Hunter River High was recognised for her supportive nature and displaying empathy in her interactions with younger students.

Irrawang High School’s Lili Douglas has demonstrated her excellent initiative and leadership in coaching the U14’s girls rugby team.

Lyla Hayward of Seaham Public School went above and beyond at Starstruck helping the teacher and making sure everyone was on time for their performances.

While Libby Vogtmann of Salt Ash Public School was recognised for always being helpful to other students.

The NOTA congratulates all of these students on their PBL awards.
