Hawks Nest Bridge Club (HNBC) has just held another of its very successful Sunday social events by way of lunch for members and their partners and friends followed by a bridge session.

This month however, was a bit different!

In honour of Mother’s Day, the men provided the catering and served lunch and what a great job they did.

A fabulous selection of soups, fruit platter and cheese board delighted diners before bridge players settled down to a relaxed afternoon of bridge in the wonderful modern clubhouse.

Special thanks also to Bea Treharne without whose efforts this monthly event would not happen.

HNBC meets twice a week on Monday evenings and Friday afternoons.

New members are always welcome and lessons are held during the year for those who are new to bridge.
