KARUAH Public School is hosting their school fete this Saturday, and you’d be crazy to miss out on this jam-packed event.

The fete will be held in the school grounds and will include markets, rides, games, food, animals, raffles and an art sale.

All proceeds of the day will go towards upgrading the outdated play equipment, as well as upgrades to the painted areas of the Covered Outdoor Learning Areas to include a number of educational games, number and alphabet puzzles to enhance out of classroom learning experiences.

Riding for Disabled are doing pony rides on the day and Tea Gardens Lions Club will be cooking the barbecue, with Donuts, popcorn, slushies and other cold drinks also on the menu, being sold out of the canteen.

There will be four rides on the day, and attendees may purchase a wristbands either online or on the day for all day riding.

There is a giant school stall selling books, plants, cakes, showbags and lucky dips.

A fun ‘Unicorn Station’ will let you be transformed into a unicorn, as well as stations for coloured hair and temporary tattoos.

With over forty stall holders there is a huge variety of things to see, do and purchase.

If fine art is what you enjoy, the children have also been studying artists like Monet and Picasso and have been doing beautiful interpretations of these paintings for an art sale.

There will be two games on the day to play, ‘Lob a Coin’ and ‘Lob a Sponge’.

Karuah Fire Brigade will be on hand with their truck, and also preparing for the ‘Get Ready Weekend’ for fire safety and awareness.

There will also be some furry friends to pet, feed or purchase on the day as well.

So, come on down to Karuah Public School this Saturday from 10am – 3pm.
