The food drive runs until the Friday 10 August and donations can be dropped off during school hours at Karuah Primary or at the Karuah RSL, Karuah Pre School as well as the Hawks Nest Newsagency and Coles at Tea Gardens. Cherie Edwards said, “The donations will be delivered to a drop off point in Tamworth where they will be sent out in care packages to families in the surrounding area and region.” Bulahdelah is also stepping up to the plate with a ‘One For the Farmers’ big day out on Sunday 9 September. There’s a great day planned at the Bulahdelah Showground with stalls, tug-a-war, raffles, live music, face painting, novelty races and a Christmas Gift drive. Money raised will all go to helping our farmers in need. For more details email Oneforthefarmers@outlook.comau By: Margie TIERNEY KARUAH FOOD DRIVE: Donated goods at Karuah Primary.
