The Leadbellies are a “Hot Rod Electric Dance Blues Band”.

That’s a mouthful which describes the essence of the band, but for apt simplicity just refer to them as ‘The Leadbellies’.
They are a Newcastle based blues line-up, who guarantee to switch on your musical energy, and drive your natural need to groove and dance.

No boring sleepy stuff from these guys, that’s for sure.

The Leadbellies have played at the Tea Gardens Hotel before, so they’re no stranger to the local scene, and they’re looking forward to taking the stage yet again.

Their repertoire is wide and varied, and ranges from Chucky Berry, Creedance and Jimi Hendrix, through to Johnny Cash, Rolling Stones and ZZ Top.

The Leadbellies will have something for everyone, and are guaranteed to get those toes tapping.

Tea Gardens Hotel’s Bistro restaurant has recently launched a new menu in time for Winter, so make a night of it, enjoy the scenic views over the Myall River whilst trying a new creation from the menu, then stay for the live entertainment and stellar performance of The Leadbellies.
