The Hornets kicked off and the Roos David Dodd was the first to score only 8 minutes into the game 4/0.

Within 5 minutes the Hornets were into equal the score 4 all and again they were in only 3 minutes later with a converted try to take the score to Hinton 10 Karuah 4.

The Big hitters for the Roos in the first half were Mitch Turvey, Tyson Peters, Dwayne Fleming, Justin Anderson, Daniel Evans, Sam Croese, Matt Croese, Dylan Foley, Ben Feeney, Sean O’Neil, Josh Page, Aiden Bills, David Dodd, Jake Blanch and Brock Cole.

Just over 10 minutes to go in the first half and the Roo’s Daniel Evans was over to take the score to Karuah 8 Hinton 10.

The Metre men in the first half were Tyson Peters, Mitch Turvey, Josh Page, Matt Croese, Justin Anderson, Aiden Bills, Mitch O’Bryan, David Dodd, Jake Blanch, Dwayne Fleming, Adam Crampton, Brock Cole and Dylan Foley.

With 7 minutes to go Hinton were in for a converted try to take the halftime score to Hinton 16 Karuah 8.

The Roos Daniel Evans was held up over the line 2 minutes into the second half. Then 3 minutes later Hinton was in to take the score to Hornets 20 Roos 8. Then 10 minutes later Ben Feeney was in for the Roos with Sam Croese converting to take the score to Karuah 14 Hinton20.

The Hitmen in the second half for the Roos were Justin Anderson, Tyson Peters, Mitch O’Bryan, Daniel Evans, Mitch Turvey, Aiden Bills, Matt Croese, Sam Croese, Ben Feeney, Adam Crampton, Brock Cole, Josh Page and Sean O’Neil.

Hinton was next to score with 12 minutes to go, Hornets 24 Karuah 14.

The Roos Matt Croese was next to score 4 minutes later with Sam Croese converting to take the score to Roos 20 Hornets 24.

The Runners for the Roos in the second half were Mitch O’Bryan, Ben Feeney, Aiden Bills, David Dodd, Jake lanch, Matt Croese, Mitch Turvey, Tyson Peters, Sean O’Neil, Dwayne Fleming, Adam Crampton, Justin Anderson, Brock Cole and Daniel Evans.

Hinton got a penalty goal with 4 minutes to go to take the score to Hornets 26 Roos 20.

Then with under a minute to go Sam Croese scored and with him converting his try the full-time score was 26 all.

Players Player 3 points was a three-way tie to Mitch Turvey, Daniel Evans and Matt Croese. Coaches Award went to Dwayne Fleming and the Sponsors Award went to Ben Feeney.
