And as always they’ve performed very strongly for a small club.

The first Branch Point Score meet was held at Raymond Terrace Pool on 14 January and eight swimmers from the Myall competed.

Valeria Mobbs said, “Leon Bobako, Brad Jensen, Chris Lock, Michael Rose, Cheryl Rose Christine Sefton, Sharon Taylor and Allan Wilson all had exceptional results with multiple podium finishes for all.”

“The tally for the day was eleven first places and eleven second places, a fantastic effort once again.”

“Leon, Chris, Michael and Brad were the winning team in the 200 freestyle relay.”

There were 26 clubs entered in the meet and Myall finished in sixth position with just eight swimmers.

The beginning of the year is always an exciting time for the Myall Masters holding its own Carnival on Saturday 17 February at the Tea Gardens pool.

The pool now has new black lines for competition and solar heating.

Last year the meet attracted 18 clubs and more than 130 swimmers.

Valerie said, “The pool is looking fabulous, so why not come along and cheer on the locals, all are welcome.”
