Krystal-Rose is six years old, attends Raymond Terrace Public School, and is a Global Elite Miss Australia Junior Miss National Finalist in the 2018 Miss Diamond Australia competition.

She is the only entrant from the Hunter/Port Stephens to make it this far, and will be competing at the finals in January.

If Krystal-Rose wins, she will then go on to represent Australia on a trip to America in July.

The Miss Diamond Australia pageant is very special, in that it expects its entrants to be a role model in all they do, representing good qualities within their personality, rather than their physical features and attributes.

Entrants must also choose a charity that they will fundraise for during the course of the competition.

Krystal-Rose’s mother Rachel told News Of The Area, “These pageants are not beauty pageants, they are about fundraising, being a role model and confidence.”

“They expect the entrants to be concerned with being a future leader, empowering females and males to show that beauty is brains and compassion, not skin and pretty faces.”

“We are so proud of her for the hard work she is putting in to not only the pageant, but her chosen charity,” she said.

Krystal-Rose has chosen the invaluable services of Port Stephens Family and Neighbourhood Services (PSFANS) to fundraise for during her pageant campaign.

PSFANS is a not for profit organisation providing many and varied services to residents in the Port Stephens Area.

There are a great number of costs associated with Krystal-Rose completing her pageant journey, so if there are any local businesses out there who would like to support her in her fundraising quest for this valuable Port Stephens service, you can contact her at rmhelite@gmail.com.
