Port hosted another fantastic presentation day for their players, volunteers, coaches and family last weekend, this time held at The Great Aussie Bush Camp north of Karuah.

The players and their families enjoyed the flying fox, giant swings and high ropes before enjoying lunch together.

The ‘formal’ part of the day then took place, with the presentation of awards, before the club finished off the day with a mud run.

The 2017 Outstanding Achiever was awarded to Michael (Hoogs) Hoogland.

The club thanked Hoogs for his amazing efforts over the last few seasons, and look forward to having him in their club for many years to come.

President Mel Nelson told News Of The Area, “On behalf of Port Stephens Power AFL Club, I thank all of our sponsors for the 2017 season, because without your support we would not be able to purchase the equipment we need for the club, and to have such an amazing season for all our players.”

The Senior Women’s team is still training Tuesday nights 5pm-6:30pm, and interested ladies are still welcome to come along and have a try.

Mel can be contacted on 0412067251 for more information.
