Court appearance for P-Plate drink driver

A Provisional licence holder will appear in Forster Local Court later this month in relation to a drink driving offence.

At 5.40pm on 2 November, police stopped the driver of a Toyota Camry station wagon on Seal Rocks Road for carrying a passenger without a seatbelt in the rear of the vehicle.

A roadside breath test returned a positive result.

The driver was then conveyed to Bulahdelah Police Station for a breath analysis where a reading of 0.047 was returned.

The driver is the holder of a red provisional licence which has a zero-alcohol limit.

The driver will appear in Forster Local Court in November in relation to the offence.
