RESOURCEFUL and adventurous is how to describe Sammi and Aaron Whatmore who are currently travelling around Australia.

Originally from Smokey Town, near Ballarat, Melbourne, they are spending some relaxing time in Nelson Bay before heading to Gin Gin, Queensland, where they will take possession of their new wheels.

Experienced in buying and renovating vehicles to personalise them for the Whatmore’s personal needs is, “All part of the fun.”

Sammi told News Of The Area, “We are going to install solar panels on our new 32 foot 1981 Bedford bus so we can live as independently as possible.”

By advertising Aaron’s boiler making skills prior to arriving in a new town ensures they have work to go to.

Their travelling companion Buddy, the 5 year old King Charles Spaniel.

“Travels well, although he does sleep all of the time,” Sammi said.

The Whatmore’s are always planning where to go, what to see next.
