She was brought to the beach and CPR initiated; however, the 50-year-old woman was unable to be revived. Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Police will prepare a report regarding the woman’s death for the information of the Coroner.
