Just after 4pm (Thursday 16 June 2016), emergency services were called to Water Street, following reports of a pedestrian hit by a car. A 59-year-old woman was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics at the scene, before she was taken to Nepean Hospital in a critical condition. She died a short time later.
