STUDENTS at Karuah Public School have been immersing themselves in democratic process to elect their 2023 student leadership team. “Karuah Public School has been busy voting and we now have our 2023 leadership team finalised,” Sarah Foister, classroom teacher, Karuah Public School told News Of The Area. This year students voted for their school captains and vice-captains, their sports house captains and vice-captains and their Junior AECG President, Vice-President, Secretary and Vice-Secretary. With student votes now counted, the 2023 leadership team can be announced. School Captains: Molly-May Sasse and Summer Leonard. School Vice-Captains: Maalaa McLennan and Isabelle Lewis. Kingfisher Sports House Captains: Bella Dickson and Chace White. Pelican Sports House Captains: Isla Johnson and Charlie Askew. Swift Sports House Captains: Alexander Saunders and Mariah-Rose Saunders. Junior AECG President: Kyzaiah Sing. Junior AECG Vice-President: Alexander Saunders. Junior AECG Secretary: Mariah-Rose Saunders.
