OPINION: Thank you Macksville!

DEAR News Of The Area,

I have always felt that living in Macksville was being part of an extended family.

This was brought home to me when my husband, Ernie, died suddenly recently.

I would like to thank all those who attended the service, sent us cards, calls, flowers and messages and gave us a lot of support.

Also my sister Ruth who supplied the violin music.

Gratitude and thanks to the staff at Macksville hospital who made everything so much easier, the staff and carers at Autumn Lodge, Lifetime Connect carers, and Dr Aye.

I will not be leaving our wonderful district.

Regards,
Joye THORNE,
Macksville.
