The Foundation is supported by the Department of Education and works in collaboration with individuals, schools, communities, the private sector and government agencies to help students achieve their full potential, while enhancing the value and reputation of public schools. The Public Education Foundation exists to support students with particular educational needs or talents reach their full potential and improve overall educational outcomes. They focus on removing the barriers to achievement created by social and economic disadvantage, and on acknowledging and rewarding excellence. The scholarship is valued at $2,000, to be paid over two years. This also enables Hannah to receive free access to Studiosity, which provides on-demand study support, and she will be offered mentoring through the Public Education Foundation.
