Santa and his crew will be starting at 8:30 am, with the professional firefighters taking Santa to the streets of Raymond Terrace and Heatherbrae, delivering bags of lollies to every kid in town.

The crew will be putting information on their Facebook page outlining their estimated path and locations, and will have a live tracker on the day.

Deputy Captain Giacomo Arnott told News Of The Area, “Our crew has enjoyed delivering this tradition to Raymond Terrace and Heatherbrae for decades now.

“It’s a fixture of the Christmas season for Santa to come around with the fire truck and throw lollies at the kids.

“Our team is really looking forward to getting out there again.

“The Lolly Run is supported by many local businesses and locals, which really shows the strength of our community.

“Your local professional Firefighters have had a huge year responding to building fires, car crashes, hazardous material incidents, assisting other emergency services, grass fires, bush fires – you name it, we’ve been to it.

“So it’s always fun for us to wind down at Christmas by delivering a bit of cheer to the town.

“Follow our live location on the day on our Facebook.

“We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday 18 December, and on behalf of the crew, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe, happy holiday season,” he said.
